Voxora Script uses your own ElevenLabs account to generate audio. This guide explains how to create a secure key, connect it to Voxora, and verify your setup.
Log into ElevenLabs. If you are part of a workspace, note that personal API keys require a Full Seat. If you cannot access API keys, ask your workspace administrator to grant you access. (Service accounts are optional and meant for multi-seat environments).
Navigate directly to your personal keys at elevenlabs.io/app/settings/api-keys. Click Create API Key. Give it a recognizable name like "Voxora Script".
Security note on existing keys
Existing keys may be masked for security and cannot be retrieved. Create a new, separate key for Voxora without deleting your other working keys.
Allow Text-to-Speech generation and access to read your Voices and account usage information. Enable Sound Effects if you use background sounds, and voice creation/deletion permissions if you use cloning. Permission labels can vary; grant only access needed for the features you use rather than full account access.

Copy the key immediately. In Voxora, go to Settings, paste the key into the API key field, and click Save. Never share your key publicly or in screenshots.
Open a script project in Voxora, cast a voice, and generate a single line or short scene. This verifies the connection and ensures your provider quota is functioning.
Note: The free ElevenLabs plan may restrict library voice API access. Generation is billed by ElevenLabs.
